It's still a silly comment man. Because if you believe that you can haggle well enough to get a say a $7k discount on a R to bring it under the price of that GTI driveaway, then you'd probably be able to haggle about the same off the GTI driveaway anyway - thus STILL making the GTI much cheaper than the R! So either way, that GTI is not R money! lol

Fastest that I was driving 180km (Golf 3), fastest driven 220km (Mercedes) but this is insane... traffic, not so dry road....
