MK6 GTI Launch Control - How? Void Warranty?

A salesman made a point of taking me out and demonstrating LC. I specifically asked whether there would be warranty problems and he said that it's a feature and they were shown how to use it. He did it a couple of times and to be honest it felt a little 'brutal'. He loved it though! Maybe I'm getting old!

I wouldn't use it for every take off but the dealers only care about the car lasting for 3 years, not 5 or 10 etc.
It would probably create more rattles with the jolty take off IMO.
