    I guess so but I would check what it says about jump starting in the manual first.

    Check the voltage with a multimeter? If it is down.

    Connect another car up with jumps leads and leave it idling a while, before you try starting. It'll put some juice in the dead battery before you try cranking it.

    Just got back no go. Multimeter read just under 12v. Connected to donor car at idle to fast idle then tried but same symptoms. Errors that show are airbag and brakes. Lights still have juice.

    Looks like a tow then unless you can find someone with VCDS to scan it.

    Had all these same issues when my battery went caput in the R. Threw heaps of codes. And even showed voltage at the battery. Get a jump and leave it chargibg from the other car for a little while, thats what mine needed then it started and worked fine.

    I'm wondering if maybe I should cancel the tow and get a mobile battery service to come and replace the battery.

    But if the headlights work then it can't be the battery right.
