    Our little Golf GTI changes hands shortly, seeming its never been to the drags before, we thought it was time before it went.

    Anyway, first run was pretty good

    That was awesome Guy ... 12.6s in a manual 5 dr GTI .....

    Bet you that V8 driver did not see it coming ......

    Yep awesome effort Guy_H. Of course, like I said in the other thread, I'd be good if you put a bit more effort in and went to the drags with a drag specific setup rather than your track circuit setup! hehe

    Yeah - small brakes, small wheels, Drag slicks, no camber, drag suspension, water meth injection - not to mention a DSG gearbox, I'm sure it would run in the 11's!

    We need to buy our own wheel alignment machine - it just takes so long to get it set up how we like it!

    Having said that guy.... i prefer to drag it as i drive it on the street.... its nice having the best of both worlds.

    Well done! Verry nice! With 18's and all that camber Lol... What did MOTOR magazine run, prob a 16.5??? Bloody bogans.

    Motor ran 13.6 on pump fuel.

    Yeah, they had two goes on Wakefields surface, so they will never get a good time - but thats the way they always conduct tests.

    They proved it themselves when they took the 911 Turbo S to the drags & ran in the 10's.
