It's exactly the same as the older Sportwagen. The only difference is the front and the dash!!

IMO, I think it looks better with the Jetta front end. You be the judge considering the back is exactly the same!

    Whoah that is horrendous!
While I've really warmed up to the mk6 hatch, this is like an unexpected sick burp.

It is a shame that the Jetta and wagon variants are such an obvious afterthought for the VW designers, who are otherwise clearly talented.

I think that there is an element of practicality. Not all cars are the covergirl. We need a bigger car, but have a small townhouse - so a golf sized wagon is what we need as a Passat won't fit in our driveway.

Each to their own I spose.

That's a good way of putting it..

They're attractive in a subtle way, kinda like Lily Allen or that girl from Twilight. As much as I prefer the Jetta front end for the wagon, i'd still buy one with the Mk6 mask

Great idea, it is kinda tough to screw in a Golf.

Let's just say that if it's possible in a Barina, a Golf isn't an issue.

There's just something strange about the front 1/3 of the car, to me it looks like it would suit a jacked up AWD model better. The more I look at the interior, the more I want a Mk6..

x2. People always said I had a weird taste when I told them I liked cars like the Passat Estate or the Liberty Wagon.. Guess they haven't seen this yet:
