MK VI GTI unknown Release information

    Hi guys,

I've just got another email from the MG VW Australia/Global 'Jutta Dierks', that the card wont arrive in Australia on 'September', however she didn't specify any other further information.

But from the latest Wheels 'July Edition' in the upcoming section, It say it should arrive here by 'September', I really don't know who should I trust.

Any opinion? Should I go and purchase a golf R32 instead ?
I don't like waiting for an unknown duration (Like it could be sometimes in the end of this year or even next year).

I have been told we should get ours in October / November - they never told me September!

It's like waiting for a Gran Turismo installment.

Actually, it's not. Nothing is THAT bad.

I'd listen to Ms Dierks. Mags can have long lead times, and it's possible that the story was written a couple of weeks before the mag was finalised etc etc.

    Hmmmm,
Is it worth the wait (4 month) or Should I get a new/second hand r32 instead (should be about the same price).

I really don't know (I really can't make my decision) *Feeling very unsettle*

I was told on Tuesday that it won't be here until January-February next year by a salesman at Springwood.

I am pretty sure no one will commit to a date.

I am almost 100% sure that that date will dearly depend on when the stocks of the MK5 GTI are sufficiently low as well

I'm cynical enough to agree with that one Guy! VW would know precisely when the stock will be available and will put out a smokescreen until it suits them. Superseded cars in stock are a liability and will cost money to shift if the new model is in stock.

    Cheers

Thanks for the information guys, I think I've decided to get an R32 now.

I will regret it anyway if i buy either one of them, because to me both car has an advantage and disadvantage for itself.

Nah, you won't regret it. Just think, there'll never be another R32 again...

I'd be waiting and buying the GTI personally.
