MK VI GTI is officially on sale in South Africa

South Africa had their car officially on SALE early this month.

For SAKE! Volkswagen Group Australia were busy selecting their NEW director rather then importing the MKVI GTI here.

We are almost ran out of all our stock on MKV GTI and the pirelli (I went to chatswood classic cars, there don't even had new GTI on stock), IS that enough information for them? What were they thinking ? Did they purposely want us as a country to get it last ??

Australia is one of top country that sell their GTI. 1 out of 4 golf is GTI here.

I've waited and placed a deposit for more then 1 month, but my dealer told me that VGA haven't accepted official order yet.

P.S. If the don't ship the car by the end of this month or early next month, there is no chance for us to get the GTI in September (which everyone is expecting the car to arrive).

Are you aware some people waited for more than 5 months for their spec MKV GTI?

I understand your disappointment, but what an overreaction after only waiting four weeks for a car that is going to be massively popular (again).

Doesnt matter eh? It will be worth the wait.
When ordering them we are told that it will be either oct or nov so all good eh?
In 6 months time, all this anguish will be forgotten for you...

Dude Relax ><. I'm just showing my full excitement. I know I'll have to wait maybe until the end of this year or maybe even next year.

I don't mind waiting for even 1 year, but the feeling of uncertainty that bothering me.

Volkswagen have not even open up an order in here, yet the official said it will arrived at September. Think how can I trust them now ?

Plus they have to build the some car which is pre-ordered with specific optional.

In the other hand in USA the official announced 'September' as a release date, and there are few pre production GTI around already.

We have none!

We are a bit slow here in Aus...its nothing new...if anything you should be accustomed to it by now..
