Going to the wreckers then returning all those parts is looking like a better and better option

(But I understand the draw of shiny new parts too).

Having this chance again - id go to the wrecker without a doubt!!

*hopefully* the order I have placed will be the last and I can put it back together now!

Almost worth an insurance claim for the cost and amount of screwing around.

    Youre not wrong, JustCruisin

It is getting to the point that it wouldn't have cost much more for insurance to fix it... and they could have worried about the parts!!

That being said, part pickup #5 is this afternoon, stay tuned!

So - I finally got the parts and put them in and it all works again...

sorry - I didn't take pics... for a couple reasons
    1) by the time I bought all the pieces necessary (grille/sensor/plug/bracket/mount for rear grille/seal/clips) I was probably a touch over $600 in oem bits - meaning excess would have been a pretty smart way of doing it
    2) As the Hawk said - the much easier job would be to grab on from a wrecker and clip the wires!

The process was really easy -
    1) assemble grille with plate and clips
    2) feed wires through sensor hole and bracket and clip wires into plug
    3) clip plug into sensor
    4) clip sensor to bracket (with seal)
    5) clip bracket to grille

as soon as this was done, all sensors and the camera came back perfectly.

Thanks for all your help - hopefully if someone else has the same problem, they will be able to work out the best way of fixing it from this thread (recommend excess or get the assembled bit from the wrecker)... if not, and they want to do it themselves, im happy to try help out
