    Lowering springs on 118TSI

Does any one had lowered springs on 118TSI? Unfortunately I didnt opt for sports pack or ACC. Now I think the springs with normal set up is having too much travel and causing more body rolling when cornering. So i would like to know if I can lower the springs to xx mm? I saw that 18" wheels require a 15mm lowering. Please advice.

I've seen people on other forums with Eibach Sportlines fitted, lowers about 45mm I think.

European Autotech quoted me about $1000 to buy and fit. They're about $600 to purchase.

It seems there are two different part numbers, one for cars with DSG and one for manual.

    *BUMP*

I'm toying with the idea of lowering my 118TSI (MT with Sports Pack) further if it's possible without hammering the shocks and making the ride quality as bad as my 200SX.

What's out there other than Eibach and who's good in Sydney for the euro suspension? I did a bit of googling but it's not much help, Google has no soul and therefore no opinion on such important matters.

Talk to Derek at European Autotech.

They are suppliers of KW Suspension, Sachs Coilovers, and Eibach springs - along with many other VAG related brands and products.

They specialise in VW and have worked on several members cars here, including both of my cars, so I can personally recommend them.
