Quite simple DIY. Remove the original by pressing in on the clip on the right and pulling it out. On the connector, press tab upwards and pull. Plug in the LED ones, tidy up with cable tie, shove everything back up into the cavity, snap it in. Presto.

No errors as far as I can tell. Ebay items is shipped from Taiwan - so about 1 week to arrive.

In the eBay Ad, it looks like there is another box that comes with the kit (see just under "Item Description")... but that box is not shown on the Installation Instructions at the bottom of the page! Did you have to install it as well?

Complete kit is as picture above. Installation instructions is for BMW. For our Golf, I suspect the little box is to get the power consumption exactly right - as per original lights -> no errors.

I use the cable tie provided to tidy the box up so that it is not bouncing all over the cavity.

You will figure it out when you do it. I just bundled it up along the main connector wiring - my goal is not to have the box swinging loose on its own.

... what about a Video as well?!

That was what I was worried about... having that box swing around in the back! That... and the brightness level of the lighting. I'm just worried it will attract too much attention! Can't hurt to give it a try though!

Here are mine - the exact same R Dash ones. I can confirm - absolutely no errors.

The new look - don't let the "brightness" fool you. They look very VERY bright in this photo - but they're actually really good.

It's literally a 5 minute install job. Almost no tools needed. I just had to use a flat head screw driver to push out a tab to remove the OEM bulb holder. As for the transformer box - I just tucked it up inside the bumper. No problem.

I did mine tonight too, forgot to take before pics though the Jetta is OEM bulbs. I tucked away the heatsink device thingy too!

One more photo. Like others have said, on photo it looks crazy bright but in reality it is ok.

How long did they take from ordering to delivery? Do you have a link? Price?

I paid for them on June 17th, and they were dispatched the very next day. But Australia post only notified me of their arrival yesterday. My local post office is useless with these things (as I live a fair way out of the city) - so their service isn't as prompt as you'd hope.
