Yep! The MY12's do have them by default - although only with the Xenon headlights (you have them right?).

The service from the guys is absolutely excellent - resolving that AM issue they went beyond what any other seller of a product of $45 has ever gone.
Wow - what can I say...I'll back Corey up on this 100%. It's been like 3 months since I bought my LED lights, and I thought I would contact the seller just to mention the problem. Without hesitation he's sending me out a new set to replace the ones I currently have. I really wish I could leave this guy feedback again. Totally awesome service. For $45, and the customer support he has given...you couldn't ask for more.

Received my rdash number plate lights today. Fitted them and they look fantastic. Made special mention that I wanted units that did not interfere with AM signal. Tested them out with AM on the radio and..... bugger no AM. Bit dissapointed since it is a known problem and I made special mention of it. Shouldn't be an issue sorting out from what the rest of you guys have recently mentioned.

Small issue to sort out but damn they are good !!

    Hey guys,

I went and got the OEM LED Lights and the Adaptor Cables to stop the error codes.

I got the actual lights from here: ~$60 shipped

eBay Australia: Buy new & used fashion, electronics & home d

I got the adaptor cables from here: ~$50 shipped

OEM Euro VW Golf MK6 LED number plate illumination adapter - BKS-Tuning

So it is more expensive the the RDash ones mentioned here alot. But the setup is not $300 like people were saying earlier on in the thread.

So if you want the OEM look for $40 more then you pay for the RDASH lights, its not bad.

    Enjoy.

So those adapter cables appear to just be standard cable with a simple 10w 68ohm resistor in place. The kind you can find at Jaycar for ~$2 each.

You could wire those into the cable in the car, and connect it directly to the LED (either OEM or Rdash).

I have the RDash LEDs myself but haven't fitted them because I'm not 100% happy with the size of and heat from the metal heatsink. This might be a better option for me, or someone who doesn't want to shell out $50 for adapters.

Well my adaptor cables arrived today. Checking the cable ends they are genuine VW/Audi parts.

So clearly VW has made some adaptor cables all along?

The part number on the cables is: 1J0973702

Ill post up some pics of the end product tonight.

---------- Post added at 05:11 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:23 PM ----------

So ive fittem the OEM LED Lights with the adaptor cables listed above and it really couldnt have been easier.

Simply clip off the old halogen lights. Fit the adaptor cables to the ends of the power cable and the new LED lights and clip them back in.

Tested it and they have a nice white light. Nothing over powering. And no errors on the MFD.

    Perfect.

It was abit more expensive at around $100 for the whole setup. but the RDash ones I found were about $60-$70.

So for the extra $30 - $40 you get the OEM look and no issues with heat.

I received the genuine number plate LEDs and the adapter cables this week.

Strangely the adaptor cables VW Golf MK6 LED number plate illumination adapter - BKS-Tuning are labelled with a KUFATEC part #.

So it looks like BKS are buying the KUFATEC cables adding a small margin and shipping them a lot cheaper!

My car arrived at port this week and my dealer is fitting and coding the LED R tail lights and the number plate LEDs for me during delivery. Might need to get them to check if the number plate LED adapter cable is actually required with the MY12 GTD as it might not show an error?
