If a fault is caused by changes you've made (unlikely) then VW may not cover you, but all other non-related issues would still be covered.
Hey Guys, Ive been desperately searching for a complete set of LED interior lights to change the existing interior lights on now, however I don't want to void my warranty. Will this a cause a warranty issue? Is there a genuine VW kit available on the market?

Just replace the lamps. Find out what type of lamp is in there and enter it into ebay. I have replaced every lamp on my fiancée's scooter with bright LED's and I've replaced the H4 halogen lamps on my GTI's fog lights with LED versions. You may get a fault showing on your MFD but this is only because the LED lamps are not a resistive load and usually show up as an open circuit to diagnostics. It won't cause any harm to your electrical system
