I have seen this discussed before here. I believe that you can't change the "lane change flash" in your settings.....so be like me, see it as a challenge to get your lane change done before the 3rd flash.
*that will stir up some purists*
Is it possible to change the lane change flash so that it performs more than 3 lane change blinks?![]()

I'm sure many drivers would rather see you change lanes in a controlled and safe manner rather than trying to beat the "3 flashes".

From what I've read, using vagcom you can change it to 5.
Not done it myself as yet.

Personally think 3 is too many as it is and have turned mine off. Not hard to hold it manually either way but will have to check the available options in VCDS.
See this thread on VWVortex.
I don't use it myself. Prefer full control over my indicators, but each to their own!Originally Posted by VWVortex

As others have said. The "Comfort Turn" signals can be enabled or disabled in the MFD setup menu. If you need more than 3 signals for a particular maneuver then you can "hold" the indicator for the additional blinks. However, you can use VCDS to update it to either 4 or 5 blinks![]()
got mine changed to 4 flashes... I'll see how it goes over the next few days. maximum is 5 flashes...
I think minimum is 3 and maximum is 5 - that was the range accepted by the controller... from memory when I was in that controller section....
But... c'mon - 1 flash... isn't it what the rest of other drivers are doing anyway when changing lane? mostly here in Melbourne...
