    Hi,
I didn't want to start another thread.
I'm thinking of getting the Kufatec basic plus unit installed in my Skoda, from Autofidelity in Moorabin.
Has anyone experienced any problems with the unit?

My dealership can install a basic bluetooth system. But wondering if Kufatec system is money better spent?
My dealer said Skoda head office have heard of issues with the Kufatec system (he didn't provide details).

Oh I give up!! Today I asked my dealer to fit the factory Skoda bluetooth kit. This way if there are any issues I can blame them, instead of a small car audio shop, with little support from Skoda.

I got the Fiscon Basic Plus kit for mine, which runs the RCD510 unit, the basic plus system fits easily in around half hour, Don't buy the system locally, I got mine from the UK from justcarkits.co.uk got it for $625 landed in Aus, some $300 cheaper for the same kit here, all you need to do bar fitting it is take it to a dealer to get the MFS to work (turn on coding for kit) but having said that, the kit will work with full functionality through the Head unit straight up.

I just bought a Blueant S4 bluetooth speakerphone for $150 and must i am very happy with it.
Full voice activated and someone calls you it reads out the name and you just say "answer" or "reject".

    Pretty good.
