I pulled my balls up and tied a knot in the string on the top side of the parcel shelf.
No more swinging balls - just a little bit is slack string on top.
Good Luck!
VW Golf 118TSI DSG - Sports Pack - Reflex Silver
I just tucked my balls into the elastic netting on the underside of the parcel shelf. No more knocking about and it doesn't affect their operation.
SO glad I found this thread, I've had my spare wheel out, been underneath the car ... damn knocking noise!!
