Issues with RN510

In VCDS, go to 16 - Steering Wheel, then click Long Coding.


My code was: 0001732 (note that I don't have gear shift paddles (yet), so your code will probably be 0001832). Write down the original code somewhere just in case.

Change - Remove Push to talk (Voice activation)
New code (for me): 0001532. Since you have the paddles, the 5th digit will be a 6 (i.e. 0001632).

for those without BLUETOOTH, can you VAGCOM or code the steering wheel PHONE button so that when you press it, it mutes? Because the button which says PHONE on my RNS510 unit actually mutes the music and pauses the DVD's, but I would like a mute button on the steering wheel as well. On the MK5's it used to be a star shaped button which you could press on the steering wheel controls

I thought it was supposed to do that by default??? In any case, the answer to your question is yes (same coding as above).
