Any ideas as to whether this would be beneficial for (and would fit) the 1.4TSI with Audi S3 FMIC (site only mentions the 2.0L)?

Yes genuine s3 intercoolers. Not the new s3. I think the 8p version from 2006 come up.Quote:

I think you guys still get 1.4 twinchargers in the 118tsi Jetta so yes it should work.

Yeah, it's also a common part with the Mk 6 Golf R (plastic end tanks) although the earlier versions had metal end tanks. Mechanic had to trim the hoses a little. Rawcpoppa did an awesome guide on the Swap too if you haven't seen it.

Im thinking of getting a new S3 cooler (btw TT has the same one also)
