Hi Boriskov. I don't know if you've resolved your issue yet or not, but I had this exact problem with "goose honk" after installing my Volant CAI also. After much research I took a punt and bought the GFB DV+ and installed it to my type C DV (minus the 'basket' -- as per the instructions in the box). Problem solved.

I've got this same problem. Just installed the tarmac CAI and have a very prominent whistle on hard acceleration.

MK532, you have a MK6 GTI with the DV C?

I've been slack and haven't done anything about this yet. Anybody got any tips to access the DV? I've read you can take off the drivers side wheel and arch lining to save having to get under the car?

That's the way I used to do it when I had to change my MK5's DV before they improved them... I change three in 30,000 km. No need to take the liner out thou.

I have the Volant/Tarmac intake also. Yes I get the whistle a lot actually as I am stage 2 (mk6 GTI).
Im not convinced about the DV fix as said above. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't, so I don't want to spend the money on a maybe!
