Alfa Brera.
I know I know... it handles terribly, the 4 cylinder engine is rubbish, and I'd probably become permanently disfigured because I'm over 6 foot...
But that lovely rear end *swoons*

For me I always have been a speed first comforts second consumer of car,
NEW: I was going to buy a MY11 WRX - very quick, gearbox's are a lot better than they used to be on the base WRX's (obviously a lot faster too), and they look great!
Would have only cost me around $40000 D.A. (my MY09 WRX cost $41500 w/sunroof and leather).
For me after owning the MY08, being repulsed by the car (after settling for its looks)and upping to a MY09.. then saw the MY11 being a completely different car yet again, I was devasted that SUBARU smashed all its customers confidence and loyalty (not to mention resale values). I would actually have bought the
MY11 again but SUBARU have to learn that you cant do that to customers. So I looked elsewhere and found the GTi.
Not really a fan of the french cars (Peugot, Renault Clio is alllllrrrrrrright bit girly for me). So WRX.
USED: Someone hit the nail on the head, E46 BMW 330CI. I have driven a 325CI, awesome cars.. sublime handling.
At speed, particularly over 80km/h it feels better than a WRX around sweepers on a racetrack. Same stretch at around 240km/h felt fine where 220km/h in a WRX, was a less confident experience. I imagine a 330 with its 170KW 300nm motor would pull great. (these motors must be slightly underated - I mean commodores in its era with 190KW felt half as fast). And the doors close like its a small tank!!
I actually was going to buy an EVO IX.. then I sat in one.. It is definitely all about the experience on the track as it feels like porsche almost speed wise, but a cheap ass mirage on the inside so I opted out of that.
Never really been a fan of Commodores or Fords, but I like what they are doing now. Again, had a VY UTE SS, really bad experience (brakes failed first 1000KM's, leaking gearbox oil, burning through engine oil, locks falling off etc) so never really went Australian again.. love the new XR turbos though..

I was actually originally going to get a Mk5 Polo, but the wait was too long! So if I had the choice again today, the Polo with plenty of coin left over.
MY14.5 VW Polo 81tsi Comfortline - Candy White - Comfort Pack
Car really loved was Renault 16TS (Or was it 1600TS). Went like stink at traffic lights, but on wet days stood there,
spinning the front wheels. (Especiially uphill) Really leaned on corners, but soaked up bumps, and quiet on highway.
Would have liked Honda V6 Accord, but too big for garage, besides seats in Golf far better, and Golf feels more like memory of
Renault 16TS (But MUCH better) (In ref to Renault 16TS, showing my age!!)
MY13 Passat 130TDI Sedan. Autumn Brown Metalic, Desert Beige seats. Sat nav, Rev camera, Dynaudio, 12way adj seats. No ACC Previous Golf 118 TSI with ACC given to my son
