just did a track on the AIDA, it has left and on its way
Had a long call from my dealer yesterday and I am not happy to say the least!
My car still in being complianced and the dealer is expecting it next week and I will have it the week thereafter....That is 6 WEEKS from the dock to me...what really peaves me the most is I book my tickets overseas 6 months ago with the guarantee from the dealer I would have it months before June!!!!! Now there is the possibility I may not even get it before I leave....Silverfox, on this thread, recieved his car last thursday myself and one other will be waiting an extra 3 weeks.....where is the logic there. A demonstration of inefficiency and miscommunication to the extreme!
Not happy Jan!
+1. I am in the same boat (pun intended) as sman66. Still no news on mine even though it was on the same boat (Toreador) as silverfox.
Just for the record...silverfox.....i hate you..........in the nicest possible way of course...

I got my call yesterday.
Car will be ready for pickup next Tuesday (7/6)
It arrived on the 21/5 according to the tracking website (might have been a few days earlier)
So it took 8 working days (11 actual) from dock to dealer. Dealer needs 4 working days for pre delivery checks. (I am sure I could push this if I really need to)
So 12 working days for cars in Brisbane.

Understood Corey....I realise they can do little but I feel as a customer they should make an effort to find out a realistic waiting time....it doesnt take too much effort.
I only a few hours ago talked to colleague at work that has a friend who is involved with offloading and quarantine checks and he called him to see if he had any info. About 2 months ago about 2000 cars, many VW's had a moth pupa contamination. They needed to be fumagated and they have been there close to 2 months and only in the last couple of days were released to compliance and they are trying to push those through as well. Apparently though the dealers have been told this.
The frustration for myself and others is the "being totally in the dark" as to why there is a delay....A bit of effort costs nothing.
