How to track the car you have ordered?

My R was discharged from the Torino in Melbourne on the 11th April. My dealer said Patricks will have it for up to a month before they get it and then they will need it for a week or two so I am looking at late may/early june. Did you pay extra!?

crock just has been the luckiest by a long way, considering that Sydney is usually longer than Melbourne and Brisbane.

For those who have ordered the Golf R and picked them up or have their VIN no provided by the dealer, how long did this take. I ordered mine from Barlow world Glen Waverly over 6 weeks ago and was told my car would arrive in early August, i haven't been provided a VIN yet. How long does it normally take to get a VIN from the date of order from everyone's experience on a Golf R.

I ordered 8th December 2010. I got my VIN number on 5th April 2011. The car exited production on 8th April. I was able to start tracking my car on the boat 15th April.

Still heard nothing back from my dealer as to the ETA - arrived in the country 19 April, assuming lost 5 days with long weekend..should be in my possession any day now!!

I know they did a swap with a dealer somewhere, so hopefully it gets transported sooner rather than later!!!

Has anyone got a car on the Morning Carol?

I have and have been tracking it on APR/Fi web site. It says it is travelling at 31 km/hr however it has not moved in the last couple of days!!

Not sure what is going on with it. It is due to dock at Durban in S/Africa in early May.

Appreciate any feedback or knowledge relating to tracking and if perhaps I am missing something??

You're missing something

It's showing it's last position. It's just not trackable right now as it's too far off a coastline. On the route it's going, there are usually two 10+ day stretches where it's not trackable.

They better resolve it because Toreador is docking in just over a week's time! It's so close, yet so far! I just want my car already!
