How to track the car you have ordered?

Yep, my dealer here in Cairns is pretty confident that it should be a mid december delivery

Awesome news mate, bet your excitement level has gone up another notch eh hehe. Mine was apparently being built 1/11 so hopefully it should be on a ship soon . Hopefully it will make the AIDA which leaves on the 9th and gets into Melbourne on the 16th of Dec being the much shorter trip of 37 days vs 40+ on most other ships. If it arrives 16th of Dec you would think there is a slight chance of a late Dec delivery, taking into account that Xmas day falls on a Sat and there would almost be 2 weeks between the 16th and 31st of Dec. Would be lucky but it doesn't seem out of the question, otherwise Jan then.

I think you're dreaming...... That late in Dec and the mechanics in the dealership will be sitting on the bonnet of the cars waiting to be pre-delivered, throwing back the christmas shutdown beers and enjoying the bbq !

Mine's on the Faust en route to Melbourne and due in this Saturday and there's a few on there I think. Of course, the W.A ones are already at Freo...

I hope there is no race man. I'd prefer my car is just handled properly and carefully and it arrives without issue. I've waited 1 year and 11 months, no point someone rushing and having a boo boo just to get me the car 1 day quicker...

Yeah I know what ya mean mate, I guess you could call it more a figure of speech really, but still there is this certain excitement with people tracking whose car is where and getting more and more reports coming in from R owners collecting their pride and joy. Heck its half the reason I'm staying sane waiting for mine and I haven't even waited half what some ppl have yet! lol

Went for a drive down to freo last night to see if I could spot a bunch of cars but only holdens/fords, I did notice a massive ship that looks exactly like the faust but obviously isn't.... I reckon you guys in melb will have your Rs before us

Faust is gone according the Freo Port Authority site, Torrens is scheduled for 6AM on Tuesday 9th November. Other vehicle carrriers in Freo from Singapore and Yokohama! Anyone want to join me on Tuesday next week with a telephoto lens
