    Hi guys

I received confirmation several weeks ago that my R went into production 27th of September (week 39) that's the last I heard. Anyone else have the same build week, and if so, have you heard anything from the dealer?

I want to start tracking boats with the rest of you guys!

    Cheers

    Pat

Does anyone know how Cars get "secured down" in Cargo Ships ? eg, do the wheels get tied down to the internal decks to protect them from damage during rough seas or are they just parked in rows ?

That only happens on our boat. All the other ones just put blocks of foam between the cars and leave the handbrake off so they can roll back and forth with the waves hehe

For anyone who's car is on the Faust there actually a documentary about it (yes I know very sad that I would be searching about the ship my car is travelling on). Apparently its the largest car carrier in the world.

Even sadder, I googled it for 30 seconds:

The capacity of the ship is for nearly 8000 cars
Jesus, there could be 8000 Golf Rs on that thing!
