Generally takes about 1 - 2 weeks from built finish to get on a train to the respective wharf. The most accurate time is the actual transport on the ship - I have never seen great discapencies there. Biggest "unknown" factor is the time form landing on the wharf & being released to the delaership. All transports are handled by PATRICKs. The time can vary from 10 days to 3 weeks (mind you there can be the occasional blow-out when the whole shipment is contaminated with seeds...).
Their KPI is 7 working days which I have NEVER seen in my 3 years + with VW. Realisticly you ar looking at 2 - 3 weeks. You can ring the dealership till you turn blue, there is NOTHING your sales person can do about this window! Once it is at the dealership, it depends on the individual dealerships speed. As a rule of thumb an aftermarket tint adds another day, so does a towbar (6 hour instalation!). Your dealer can track the status of the car with PATRICKS as there is a dealer logon - the magic words are "dispatched to dealer" Hvaing said that not every sales person has the authority to log on to this. In some dealeships only the mager or stock controller have the log on info, so don't make a nuisance of yourself trying to get daily updates form your sales rep
