G'day, as far as I know, you can only track it yourself once it has been handled by the shipping company. The dealers may be able to provide feedback on the build process - not sure.
Mine has not been showing up on the track and trace, yet was supposed to have been shipped around the 22nd Apr. Just sent a msg to WWL via their website asking about status and received a reply within 5 min. However, they have no record of my VIN!! Maybe the dealer has given me the wrong VIN, so asking them to confirm. Perhaps getting a little obsessive, but want to know where in thw world the new machine is :-|

I had my VIN for almost two weeks before I was able to track it. It just kept saying "No record found". I would guess that if your car built last week, you should be able to track very shortly, keep checking.
I have to say, the Marine Traffic website that gv-dub put me onto is soooo addictive, I cant stop watching it.
Yeah I'm having the same issue with the Tombarra. The last time I could track it was when it was in Baltimore USA. No sign of it for the last couple of weeks. I hope it hasn't sunk...
I'm waiting on the Asian Dynasty and same thing - dropped off the map!! It appears that the system they use relies on base stations near the cost (FAQ on marinetraffic.com), up to about 40 nautical miles, so as soon the ship is in middle of the pacific you loose track of it!

Ahh okay, guess mine must be floating around in the Southern Ocean on it's way to Melbourne then.
Hopefully it shows up tomorrow
Hi all,
This might have been stated before, but here it goes...
I have contacted Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics (the company that ships the VWs) and they have told me that you are not able to track your car until it has been loaded onto the vessel, even though your car has arrived at the port of landing and has been allocated a ship. Data from the website also gets updated once a day normally around midnight (+9 hours for those who live in the Eastern states of Australia).
Cheers.
