How to track the car you have ordered?

R U talking about the Toba who is 1000 kms off the African Coast?

Anyone got a car on the Tombarra? According to that shipping site it looks like it's at Baltimore in the USA. Am I doing something wrong...?

Well I rang my dealer today as well, they told me the car is a week 14 build, but production hasn't started this might mean a few weeks (I bet you months) delay :(

How can your car be a week 14 build?? My Brothers GTI is a week 14 build and was built Friday the 2nd of April. His is at the docks awaiting the ship.

That's what they told me a week 14 build... the schedule printout that I got had a 'handover to production date' of the 31st March and the car leaving the production plant on the 27/04. With the car due in the body shell workshop last week. Alas, the car has not gone into the workshop yet which means a slip in production time. :brutal:

The exact words that the dealership gave me was 'your build is imminent' so if you really read between the lines we have no idea, but saying this to keep you happy :S

That's pretty shocking.

My dealer quoted late June and it gradually dropped to late May.
Took me emailing them to find the VIN and find out it was on the Torreador (Arrives Brisbane 5 May)

So there was still a lack onf information transfer but i got the opposite with the decreasing waiting time which is probably pretty standard as to no peeve off customers with extended waiting times.

My MK6 TSI that is coming went from the end of May to the 29/4 (arriving at docks) It came forward by 4 weeks. Not long now for me.
