Yep. Cars ship with "spring rubbers" so that there is less chance of scraping the front of the car etc coming on and off the ships, trains and trucks. They're taken out during the dealer delivery process.

Well spotted. Certainly will check they are gone. When I bought my Mk5 GTI had to drive it from Melbourne to Adelaide and after a few days looked under the car and the spring rubbers were still in. Haven't had the same issue with the Adelaide VW dealer.

Is anyone who's got their car on Toreador also questioning whether it will really dock in Melb at 12am tonight?
Golf R 5 door United Grey | DSG | ACC | Leather | Bluetooth | 19" Talladega Black
I had a look on the port of Melbourne website which said it was docking in at 1:30 or something on the 6th, and said to subtract 2.5 hours from the dock time which leaves u with close to midnight tomorrow? I'm a little confused but I think it'll be docking tomorrow night and not tonight, it would have shown on radar already if it was tonight?
Take a look, search Toreador, you may need to wait for it to update: Expected ship movements
Can't believe i've become so obsessed with this ship xP
