Im a bit miffed with this tracking biz. Mines on Otello too going to Port Kembla (Sydney)
Nadcon from 09/01 said it docks said 03/02
Two days later it was bumped back to 05/02
Last week it went to 07/08
And have just checked now and its 08/02
... are these changing dates normal? Ya, I know its only 5 days but I want my new GTI dammit!!

Mine finally turned up on the tracking site this morning aboard the 'Morning Conductor' which is due to dock at Port Kembla on 8th March. Yeah, its on the way!
For those of you experiencing frustrating delays, here is cause of it. A shortage of parts is causing VW to go as far shutting down Wolfsburg for a day.

Wow! I was told this shortage of parts a couple of days ago, is the reason for all kind of delays - R, Polo, etc... I took it with a big grain of salt and didn't think it was legit.Quote:

Hi aVex, your salesguy is not customer friendly, is he? I suggest, go down to the dealership in person, grab any salesman and ask them to show you the ETA screen for your order. If built, the other screens would also show VIN.
Okay, I took your advice. I went to the dealership today and the sales guy apologised. The stock controller manager also said that the sales person should have kept me up to date.
I got all the details I needed, it's on the Morning Conductor, now ETA 06/03/2011 and I should receive it by the end of March.
