I was driving a BMW X5 the other day and the steering wheel electrically raises and retracts to aid getting out (as if you need it in a X5).

VW's answer to our seating position issues will be a complimentary VW branded whoopie cushion! With the price we're paying (as opposed to BMWs), they might even let us choose the whoopie cushion colour to match the car.
