How To Remove Rear Seat Base?
Hi Guys,
I'd like to remove the rear seat base of my missus 118TSI Comfortline to strap down her custom seat covers. How is it done? Is it by undoing the two visible large Torx bolts (also holding down the seat belt receptors) in the boot area? Are all the bolts Torx ? Who sells these large Torx (if they are Torx) drivers? I don't recall Bunnings have drivers these big!
Thanks,
Alan

It might be a bit late, but it's quite easy to remove the seat base.
Firstly, no tools are required. If you run your hands along the lower front edge of the seat base, and gently pull as you go, you'll be able to feel where the seat base is anchored down. Get a hand either side of the anchor point (Two, located at each end of the seat base), and firmly pull upwards. There are two hooks at the back edge of the seat base, where you'll need to push the seat base rearwards, and lift up. Then, the seat base can be removed.
I hope this helps.
