If you have halogen headlights and try to swap xenon bulbs you will have issues with the eletric's/coding from what i have read.

    Happy to be corrected though.

I would think should be able to by the whole light assembly.... then code the MFD. Not sure thou. Good luck.
I think the Adidas GTI has these lights as well.

Just finished helping someone do a complete retro fit including self levelling and AFS sensor on rear suspension. It is a massive job. If you want to just change the light units and not have them 'move' it is not too bad. Front bumper removal required plus new wiring adapter plugs and harnesses.

Still need to code of course.

You should have done what I'll do next - tick the box that says Xenons when you bought it

it's easy (if you have done it a few times aka revising the installs to work correctly), just need about >$3k (OEM headlights + uprated BCM + AFS module / sensor / wiring harness, 10-14pins adapters, headlight washer kit, etc etc) plus plenty of time, courage, tears & joy ...

have a look here for a start:

as Ozram said above, tick the option when buying a new GTI, it's a lot easier, cheaper and a lot less headaches!

Luckily mine has them standard. I have seen some cheap ones on ebay, but they are very poor quality. Even the light output from the xenons and the LED's is noticably reduced. Not sure if they have the dynamic cornering function either.

Yeh just read some the DIY links. So not worrying about the moving part. What is the BCM and AFS ?
Maybe the Mars plug and plays would be easier?

    This is a big job,

The Body Control Module or Central Electronic Control Module
The Central Electronics Control Module (CECM) is situated above the pedals on the drivers side and controls all the lights in the car, monitors them, controls what appears in the MFD under the lights menu, controls the leaving home and coming home lights function, controls the horn(s) and other features. There are different variants of this module called the Medium and the Highline, the latter is required for fog lights, bi-xenons and other features.

Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS) is in charge or "auto" level the Bixenon headlights depending of the road conditions,

He is advertising them as xenons but hen talks about HID so I'm a little confused about what they are exactly but if they are true xenons they will be illegal on your car without pop up washers and auto levellers.
