    Hazard Lights

Has anyone noticed that the hazard lights flash faster when the ignition is off? Does anyone know why?

I figured I'd post this in your section as my car basically has a Mk6 interior...

    Voltage drop, maybe...

Turning the ignition on places a greater load on the battery.

Does the flash rate come up again if you start the engine?

Nah it doesn't. It only flashes at the faster rate when the car is off. Our Tiguan does it, too.

Could it be the feature of the electronic flasher unit?
