GTI - Strut tops - alternatives

    Hi,

In attempting to gain a certain wheel alignment setting, it has come to pass that I cannot achieve my desired camber on the front wheels.

So, in maintaining the ride high, ride comfort and current NVH levels, what brands are out there which are recommended to allow me to get the camber I wish.

    tnx

There are a few options. None are cheap. I have KW V3 and the camber plates with superpro lca and passat uprights. The ttrs lca uprights and balljoints allow camber adjustment and reduced unsprung weight but is not a cheap option either.

APR - High Performance Development for Audi, VW and Porsche Vehicles.

you need a linear spring to make top mounts work (they are flat on top) - these are comfortable, you can change the spring rate & chose a couple of different levels of dampers with & without adjustment.

You can also use our our lower control arms & adjustable ball joints.

In combination with the above, we have been able to achieve up to 4 degrees of negative camber in the front for track use under stock guards.
