    GTI MK6 Seat Belt Warning

The seat belt warning chime has just started to play up. I've hopped in the car and have the seat belt on....
The seat belt warning is still chiming...i wriggle the connector a bit and it stops from time to time. there's definitely something loose, maybe the wiring is loose.

    Anyone have similar issue?

No one else has reported the issue in the MK6 forum that I can remember or find.
    Contact your dealer.

i have contacted the dealer, don't think they will be much help either.
but I'm bringing the car in sometimes soon.

Something must be loose, therefore it looses the connection intermittently.

When I say dealer, I meant your dealer's service dept.
If that is really who you contacted, and they told you they won't be much help, I would suggest you call them back up, cancel, and then call another dealer's service dept who can help

yeah i will bring it in to check it out.
i dunno why..i have more faith on this forum than any of the dealers...
as they always tend to apply a fix, then it'll break again in 2 weeks time, then i have to go back again.

they just got those apprenticeships working....hardly trustworthy in my opinions...
an experienced mechanic is much better
