GTI Front bumper question

Does a Mk6 GTI that doesn't have Bi Xenon head lights still have the tabs on the bumper that hide the headlight washers ?

Perhaps a GTI owner wihtout Bi Xenons can tell me.

Correct, there is nothing behind the tabs. But that wasn't the question

Now I know that seeing pictures of GTI's with these tabs does not automatically mean they have Bi Xenon's.

You can tell just by looking at the lights if they're bi-xenon or not, no need to look for any other indicators.

that said I hate to shamefully admit that I didn't know mine doesn't come with bi-xenon until the car arrived at home and I was looking at it with my bro and he said "why is the headlight yellowish" - I was disappointed to find out it was a halogen....

was assuming all GTI had xenon cos of the bumper tab... didn't do my homework obviously and buying in a rush (not willing to wait 6 months) and just grab the next demo car available... would still live with it for the duration of the lease then after that most likely 'bye bye', it's still a good car anywhow without the xenon...

So am I reading this correctly, you would let your GTI go, because it doesn't have xenons ?

Your gonna hate me, but I definitely would.

My older car had xenons and I couldnt now go back to being without them on a new car.

I didnt even consider the Honda Type R, cause it didnt have them, even though I loved the car and was close to buying it. And I wouldnt get a GTI without them, and this basically left me with the only choice of ordering one.. So since I had the wait anyway, I got an R.

+1 for the I wouldn't buy another car by choice without them.

But I'm not sure I'd sell a GTI just because I didn't get them.
But then, I'm also not sure how you could confuse the standard headlights and Xenon. It's not like they look even REMOTELY similar!
