I'll have you know I got mine from Sanitarium. It's a far superior system to Kelloggs.

i got mine in 1941 — it came in a Weeties packet.

(Actually, one day the local cop buttonholed me in the main street of the town we lived some miles out from and said "You must be 18 by now — come up to the station and give me five bob and you won't have to leave your ute outside town and walk in."

I was actually 17 at the time and running the family farm single-handed whilst the old man was in the army — of course he knew that...

Just put a sub on the left hand side of the hatch and enjoy.

The strap is for a hazard triangle as far as i know. (Noticed the MK6 doesn't have a pocket on the RHS of the hatch anymore for a whine bottle or bottle of oil...???).

From what I read in the manual, the holder is for the emergency triangle and the strap is for the first aid kit, none of which are standard in Oz spec cars.

The holder on the RHS is just perfect for my first aid kit.

I actually have a rolled up blanket in that nook. In case of an emergency picnic.

Should be a plastic (removeable) divider blocking off the rear portion of the RHS of the boot.

Is it under the boot level, or plainly visable?

Will take a photo tonight - hope this car wasn't written off or something.

Here is a photo which shows the warning triangle (I presume) in the boot of a MK6 (with a rather messy boot organiser):

Here is a picture of the plastic divider. It was the best one I could find and it is mostly obscured by the rubber boot liner, but it's just that small verticle plastic piece in the bottom right corner of the boot in this picture.
