Take note, if you like the LED daylight driving light thingy, it only comes with Xenon option.

I originally wanted Tornado Red without ACC but definately with the RVC as I have a (now) 7 year old and wanted to be as safe as possible around him. Due to availability I ended up taking the CW with ACC because it was the only one with RVC/Sunroof I could get without a special order. The dealer did the BT/MDI but using factory parts so I was happy to accept a car ordered without so long as they were installed in PD. THey werent but it was remedied soon after anyway.
So life with ACC/DCC - well I am very happy I got the car with it although if I hadnt then I don't really know if I would miss it. I drive it in Normal mode generally but when I put the DSG into S I put the ACC on Sport and have a very good time. I rarely if ever use comfort - we have a big wagon for comfort driving...

Beautiful looking classic ride GTi11.5: sounds like your a happy customer!
BTW GTi11.5, was yours a factory tint or did the dealer organise local?
On that note can anyone recommend a Melbourne tint shop and likely cost? (at this stage still have factory tint on order)

Probably coming in a little late, but from what i have noticed so far the GTD seems to have much better resale over the GTI. I would say this has a lot to do with the fact that there is heaps more MK6 GTI's on the market over the GTD's, you can get a second hand MK6 GTI now for under 30k, I am yet to see any GTD's under 36k. This may all change in another a few years, but just something i have noticed over the last 12 months.
MKV GTI
I suggest you go with the Ed 35 - better again than the GTI - a real sleeper
