I thought they were about the same, cheers.

I assume the same doesn't apply to the S3? how is the headroom in the back of yours with the sloping hatch?

Ps. coreying I take it you are going to get 5dr next time as you prefer the 5dr in the MK6??

lol - no no, I said I don't think that 5dr is as bad looking in the MK6 as it is in the MKV, but I'll definitely be getting a 3dr again. If I truly needed 5dr (i.e. cause I had children), then I'd probably get a Passat wagon or something

    Btw, S3 3dr...
I'm 5'10" but have excellent posture (i.e. I don't slouch). The S3's headroom for me is fine... UNLESS, you have a sunroof. Then there is this 'head bubble' in the headliner which runs across the back of the car above the rear seat. The thing is, every time I look down or lean forward, I hit my head on the front edge of the 'head bubble' (which is due to the sunroof cavity). I really don't like it :/

3 door version looks nice, like Honda civics which is fine if you're a young boy.

I third that. SWMBO would take offence to you calling her middle aged, but otherwise I think you are right.

Actually - the fact that you think the 3 door version looks like a Honda civic in fact makes YOU a young boy, since you're not old enough to remember the fact that a Honda civic looked like a Golf MKI
