i am amazed that they are not using the same tyres on all our GTI's.
you say you got dunlops as OEM, i got bridgestone on my gti as oem also 18's
then i have seen different 17's also used as oem. Doesn't make sense.
Anyways, as Corey has suggested, speak to VW and see if they can help you get another one
I guess with the sheer numbers of cars they are pumping out they cant rely upon just one supplier to provide their needs.
Have spoken to VW, havent come back with any suggestions yet.
