Grease on the inside of the front wheel ??

Hi all,

My new Golf has only done a few hundred klms and has grease coming from somewhere and sticking to the inside of the passenger side wheel.
It could be some excess grease from initial assembly.....
Has anyone else had this on a new Golf ?

Could be a busted outer CV boot. Get into a dealer and get it checked out.

Thought about the cv boots, but surely not at 250 klm's. The grease is on the outer part of the wheel - inline with outer part of the caliper.

Looks to be coming from between the wheel mounting face and the brake disc face.

Will call the dealer in the morning.

Correct - and I can do that my self without wasting 3-4 hours of my day only to have to go back when/if it reappears. This is most likely the next step, but I will speak to the dealer first.
