Pretty sure mine is same as yours.. purchased August 2011 but I really haven't looked at the kms because I don't expect to have done 100000kms in 3 years.
Just curious from memory some other members of the forum
Have said there warranty is a 3 year unlimited Km.
When Washing the car yesterday I noticed the sticker on the rear passenger side said only 3 year/100000km warranty.
Just curious as to what everyone else's is?

VW changed its warranty at 1 jan 2011 to unlimited. I am guessing that your car was built before this. Worth checking with dealer on this.

The Golf "eBrochure" dated October 2010, says 3 year (unlimited km) warranty for vehicle specifications as of July 2010, for Model Year 2011.
But unless you anticipate an annual mileage of more than 33 000 km over 3 years, I wouldn't worry too much about it.
Certainly, you wouldn't have bought the TSI and got the TDI if that were the case.
Actually, I take what I said back.
Looking again at the official fuel consumption figures, RRP, and current fuel prices, the TSI is so damn impressive that for the most part it renders the TDI irrelevant from a financial point-of-view (unless you plan on keeping the car for a while).
I may have to readjust my thinking!
