Helps point the ST into corners a little more like a RenaultSport Clio RS200 apparently:

Pricing is sure to be very good value for money for the ST ... hope they include driver footrest and cruise control this time around.

XR5, if the ST is the updated version I can't see much has changed.. the R and GTI are a much more enjoyable experience

I don't think anyone is talking about the RS, only the ST and XR5

    GTD or R?

    G'day All

Picked up my long awaited GTI last week and loving it. Lo and behold my +1 has been headhunted into a new job meaning she gives up her company car but can buy a new one ($ increase more than worth it). She will be doing some K's in her commute so thoughts turn to economy and performance- cue GTD. However, the GTI gets pretty good mileage particularly with mainly highway driving and a fuel card with my novated lease (she will train it 1-2days a week as well). So, do I give her my GTI and trade myself up to an R?! I went back and forwards to moving to an R whilst waiting for my GTI so this could be the perfect win-win situation Thoughts/comments appreciated.

I would go the GTD for something different.

The GTI is more than capable enough for day to day use.
