Interesting link on KW providing some sort of Dynamic Chassis Control unit that plugs into the electronics of the damper to fool the DCC into thinking that it's still attached to the original set of dampers. Another method would be to have the guys at APR clear the codes and tape the cables up to the chasis body. See link: '

As good as the Dynamic Chassis Control suspension is with ease of adjustment & activitely controling the body roll, pitch & dive of the Golf - the KW coilover dampers feel more premium in terms of giving Koni style of ride & handling mix that seems to be both firmer on smooth roadways and better damped on rougher roadways. Pity KW don't offer a full DCC version that simply plugs'n'plays. Standard DCC dampers feel more like a Bilstein/H&R type of valving. Could come down to preference. Something to consider when the stock dampers wear out. My DCC dampers have settled in after 14,500km of country road driving .... similar thing with the earlier MKV GTI in hindsight.
Cheers
