Leather with heaters and electric lumbar was standard on my GTI as well

Together with leather looking better, easier cleaning and better selling - was an easy choice.

The seats in leather don't allow slip, no idea how you can in the R seats actually, well designed.

Finally put my order in!!

Candy White, DSG, ACC, Roof, 19" Talla's.
I couldn't get the leather seats ='( if i did, the car would have to be black, and i CANT wait (i need a car ASAP).
I figured i could always upgrade my seats later, but can't add roof/acc later.

Pick it up in 2-3 weeks!!

Have been told my replacement car will arrive within a week or two after Easter. Am really looking forward to getting it after my first Golf R (CW) was written off last year. Have ordered the following this time around:-

Cool, I had seen one on here a while back which the colour was a "mistake" ..

I wonder why they wouldn't just make it a standard colour... It makes no difference..or sense.. considering its in the GTI range..

My TR Golf R was finally delivered yesterday and the car's every bit as good as I remember (and so much better than the Holden Rodeo loaner I've been driving lately), while the color looks better than I'd imagined it would. My wife kept telling me I should've ordered another CW Golf R but now she likes TR.

As it was explained to me, Volkswagen does produce the Golf R in Tornado Red as a standard color, it's just that VW Australia has chosen not to import them, preferring to leave TR for the GTI.

Looking at available spec Golf R;
12.5 candy white, base model DSG with black 19" Talladega wheels & no other options.

If I buy a Golf R from available stocks, instead of ordering custom specs, should I get a better negotiated price?

I've gotten various dealer pricing for the same car specs, between $54k to $58k drive away.
