Not sure where to post this but here seems like a good spot.
Basically I cancelled my 5 door R order recently,due to work commitments (I require a vehicle sooner rather than later unfortunately). It is currently in transit to Aus. it has;
*Candy White
*DSG
*Leather Interior (Not the racing seats)
*19" Black Talladegas
*ACC
*Bluetooth
*MDI
*Sunroof
Ordered from Central Coast Volkswagen early april.
So if anybody is after one with those options, give David and the team up in gosford a bell.
Cheers,
Stef.

He doesn't know whether he's getting a good deal or not
(See the previous page)
As the resident bean counter, I'd say work to about 10-12% off the RRP (as corporate plus gives you a blanket 10% off).
Not sure of the RRP for that particular one, although discount it more if it has been on test drives![]()

RRP is before the on the road costs?
Actually my requirements are more modest. I really just want ACC DSG.
Dynaudio and reverse camera would be nice.
Use my spreadsheet from the first post. Use the links in the spreadsheet to ensure that YOUR registration costs (including the plates of your choice, your insurance, etc) are accurate, as well as putting in your dealers "dealer delivery" fee if it's different to what the spreadsheet has. We're talking the "RRP onroad price" (or RRP drive away). There's no point discussing any other price because it's not relevant. So when people (who know what they're talking about) say they got a 10% discount, they mean from what their non-discounted (i.e. RRP) drive away price would have been.
Based on that, I estimated (and QLD has not very much variation from person to person unlike other states) that given standard plates and dealer delviery, $60k flat would be 9.05% discount (as per my previous post). If this car hasn't been discounted, and it's in stock, and it's got the options you want... then get it done already!!!!![]()
Yeah. It's a very nice spec. Though a bit OTT for me. I'd never have added leather unless it was with the sports recaro
I'd probably be ok with abt 55k with the options I wanted: DSG ACC Dynaudio RVC. Or 58k with RNS.
Pretty sure there are a few stock std cars around - provided you ask the dealer. I would think that a lot of them become demos shortly after arriving at the dealership - so get in QUICK!!!
FYI - I was down at James Frizelle's last weekend and there was a dude who was looking at trading in his BMW 135i coupe for a Golf R. I said, great choice!![]()
