That's within a few hundred of my price but i had the Dynaudio upgrade and tinted windows added to that spec. But i also had a corporate discount deducted, is this included in your price? If not, then it's pretty good.

    Thinking about a Golf R

I currently have a 2009 MKV GTI and my change-over is now only a year away. I have been thinking about a few cars to get but now have the new Golf R at the top of my list.

    Thinking about the following mods:

    Golf R 5 Door - 6 speed Manual
    Electric Glass Sunroof
Satelite Navigation with Dynaudio 300W Premium Audio
    Media Device Interface
    Rear View Camera
    Vienna Leather Upholstery
    VW Bluetooth
    19" Wheels

Anyone have one in a similar package? If so what would I be looking at paying?

    Cheers

Thanks for the link, but I am more after what people are paying.

Can I ask how much you have paid for yours?

$63k for mine. But people have also posted in that thread what their configurations are, and how much they paid. It's good to get an idea of what you should be paying, and how much room there is for negotiations.

$67k for mine. Same spec as Dreamension's but without RVC, Silver 19s and added Sat Nav.

I probably paid a little OTT because mine was in stock and I picked it up almost straight away. Still very happy though.

As per another thread on general observations, the Sat Nav is good that it is built in, but not the greatest Sat Nav and doesn't have speed / RL cameras. Don't think it is worth $2.5k. don't forget to add Bluetooth - much better to get the factory installed one in my opinion.
MY11.5 Golf R - Candy White 5 door - still giggling like a child when I drive it!

That's not going to happen. Use the calculator at the start of this thread. Once you go over $57,466 in VIC you go from a 2.5% stamp duty to a 5% stamp duty on the entire amount. So the RRP "drive-away" price for this in Vic with standard plates in Melbourne would be ~$70,406. To get that down to $60k you'd need a 14.78% discount - which would be spectacular if you could get it... but given they've sold more than they can supply atm, there is no reason for a dealership to do so...
