It's gone =( Someone either forked out near 100k or they realised their typo and pulled it.

Most expensive one in Vic is $74,888 now.

Some people (like me) are happy to forfeit a big discount to get hold of the car straight away, rather than the 10 months wait that is expected now. Dealers who have stock (specially ones with ACC as mentioned above) know they have a hot item on their hands, although asking $90k is very unrealistic (I assume this was a typo and has been rectified).

You mean impulsive, impatient and willing to rack up a much larger debt than they should?

Harsh.. I won't be incurring debt and if need be could afford to be impatient, but I just don't see the wait equating to the premium uplift.. but if I did I don't think that would make me impulsive, impatient and willing to rack up a much larger debt than I should?

    Sorry, missed this one.

Berwick VW. Picked it up yesterday, man it is a sweet ride. Crap day for picking up a new car though.

VW Berwick looked after me though, so I'd recommend them. Gave me a good trade in on my old car so all in all i'm very happy.

    Hi guys
Meant to post my contract specs and prices earlier to go someway in repaying the great help the price calculator was.

    Golf R 5 Door
    United Grey
    DSG
    BT
    19" Talladega Black
    Sunroof
    Leather

$59k driveaway (with corp disc) NSW rego
There was a trade in component too so the changeover price was $42k. The trade in is a 06 Subaru Liberty Premium Pack sedan with 88,000k's (and a ding on the left rear where I backed into my mother in laws car.......)

Ordered 21/12/2010.........estimated production slot allocation on 30/04/2011..........delivery another 3 months after that. I might not be able to wait six months, but two lots of three months isn't so bad.
