Golf R Ride Height

Hey guys,

I'm new to this forum and picked up my new Golf R last weekend.

Amazing car I must say!

Just have a question in relation to standard OEM ride height with 18" wheels.

i have noticed that other R's seem to sit a bit lower than mine (going by the gap between the wheel arch lip and tyre)

I dont have ACC onboard which I doubt makes a difference in height.

I have measured my car on level ground with a full tank of fuel and my measures come to:

Front: 605 mm
Rear: 610 mm

(measured centrally vertical from the bottom lip of the rim -to- the edge lip of the wheel arch)

Has anyone else got some numbers to compare?

sounds like the lower-riding (by your definition) might be a 19" wheel?
