    Finially got it!

After a 4 month wait, I Finially got my R yesterday...

    1. From the outside it is definetly alot louder than i remember. The sound it makes in my work's underground carpark is awesome.
    2. After a bit of rain last night, the roof seems to collect a fair amount of water
    3. Ride on 19's without ACC is not bad. Only on the sh**tier roads does it start to bounce around. And they really dont agree with large pot holes in the road :-p, but most cars don't either, apart from something like a tank.

Anyone know the best way to clean finger marks off the B pillar piano black door trims, without giving the whole car a wash?

    Entice,
How do you get down to 12.5L/100km! Mine operates at around 14.5! Yippee!

    Congrats!

Try meguiar's window cleaner. Silvrfoxx (not Silvertfox) showed me this trick when he helped me detail my car

Mine started mid 12's and is now down to 11.4 - average trips of 2-3km. Getting the car tuned helped it a lot I think, now the car can actually accelerate in 6th

Either it's that dodgy tune you run or you never do freeway runs

Kinda hard to hit those numbers on a freeway trip unless you have NFI how to drive a car or there is something seriously messed up with the tune or hardware

Don't wipe the piano black B pillars down with anything without washing them first unless you like swirls

Wash them and then apply either a sealant or a paint protection film

Use door handles to close the doors and tell your passengers the same

The piano black plastic is soft, it marks easily.

Absolute worst thing you can do is to wipe them down with anything if they are dirty

If you really must use a lubricating quick detailer.

All but 15 minutes of my drive is on freeway/80-100kmh roads.

    The drive is 1hr 15mins.

If I didn't boot it away from every set of lights and accelerate through every roundabout it would be lower.

He said Sealant not Wax... but he has used Carbon Fibre But as Chylld said a quality window cleaner applied with MF cloth will achieve all that has been suggested without scratching and without washing the whole car
