Golf R Observations and Questions

hey guys, had my new MY12 R a couple of weeks and have a few questions..
read the manuals but still lost :p

1. tyre pressure warning system.. manual says there should be button near the gear knob (there isn't one) or in the glove box (there isn't one).. where is it?
2. there is a button near the driver's side seat belt, around my right elbow to disable/enable the interior alarm & towing alarm system.. i guess it isn't enabled on australian models?
3. 3 buttons on the roof console.. no use in australia?
4. dipping of the left hand rear view mirror during reverse doesn't happen? I did read it had to be setup in the manual so will give this a go again

It is in the glovebox in the top corner

Yes it is

What 3 buttons unless you mean the lnterior lights

Make sure your mirror selector is switched to the left not centre

1 can be set to call your service centre (mine is set up)

The others are not functional in AU as far as I know

Ask your dealer to kindly lend you a spare (from a demo?). Mine did, and I read it (and the headunit manual) cover to cover before I picked up my car. Highly recommended reading!

thanks Adam I may ask the dealer as I am going away for a month, my car is in the compound so maybe they will give me my own manual

thanks for answering my questions.

found the tyre pressure button, had to get down real low
mirror dipping works now too, i must had missed the bit about having the switch to the left, have always kept it on centre (even on my old mk5 golf)

Strange they moved it from the switch assembly by the shifter in our GTI to the glovebox in our R

Took me a while to find it as well

You know about the AirCon setting in the glovebox too I guess
